Breathwork for Runners

Breathe better. Run smarter. Perform stronger.

Join Becs for a practical and eye-opening introduction to the Oxygen Advantage® Method, a proven breathing approach used by endurance runners to improve efficiency, build aerobic capacity, and run with less effort.

If you experience breathlessness, early fatigue, or feel stuck at a plateau, this workshop will show you how to use your breath as a powerful, often-overlooked performance tool

Learn How To…

  • Breathe more efficiently while running at various paces

  • Increase CO₂ tolerance to support aerobic endurance

  • Reduce breathlessness on hills and during speed work

  • Delay fatigue and maintain form for longer

  • Recover more quickly between runs and harder sessions

  • Support better sleep, focus, and nervous system recovery

Suitable for runners who can comfortably run 7 km on mixed terrain. No previous breathwork experience is required.

What to Expect

We’ll begin in the studio with a short talk and slides, where Becky will introduce the key principles of the Oxygen Advantage® Method and share practical breathing techniques you can start using straight away.

We’ll then head out on a guided trail run at a steady, conversational pace. Along the route, we’ll pause to practise breathwork techniques and receive real-time coaching. This is not a race, and there will be regrouping points throughout.

We’ll finish back at Mill Yard, with the option to stay and gather in the café for a coffee and something to eat, a relaxed opportunity to refuel, ask questions, and connect with fellow runners.
