  • My journey began in beauty therapy, where my love for skincare led me to train with some of the world's most prestigious brands, including Chanel, Shiseido, Decléor, and Crème de la Mer. Working in London's luxury skincare industry gave me invaluable insight into nurturing the skin, body, and soul.

After moving back to Chichester, I spent time at Goodwood Hotel, further refining my craft with Elemis and Elemental Herbology. I deepened my knowledge through specialized training in pregnancy massage and cancer massage, reinforcing my commitment to providing safe, adaptive, and compassionate care for all. As a holistic massage therapist, I believe that every body is unique, which is why my treatments are tailored to suit your specific needs.

     My expertise includes:

Deep tissue massage - to release tension and restore mobility

Reiki energy healing - to encourage emotional and physical harmony

Indian head massage (Level 3) - to relieve stress and enhance well-being

Colour therapy - to align the body's energy and mood

Sports massage (Level 3 & 4) - to promote recovery and relaxation

While I don't offer every treatment I've trained in, I intuitively adapt my approach to suit your needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, chronic pain, pregnancy discomfort, or simply need time to reconnect with yourself, my mission is to help you slow down, unwind, and feel truly restored.

If you're ready to experience a holistic approach to wellness, I'd love to welcome you to Slow it Down Holistic Therapies.

  • If you’ve been carrying something you can’t quite name, or feel your past still lingers in the present, Emotion Code healing offers a gentle path to release that weight and reconnect with your true self.

I’m Karen, a certified Emotion Code Practitioner, and I help people and animals release trapped emotions — the energetic imprints of past experiences that can cause emotional heaviness, physical discomfort, or a sense of being stuck. This simple, natural, and non-invasive healing method works with your subconscious to identify and clear these trapped emotions, allowing your body’s innate wisdom to restore balance and flow.

Each session unfolds safely and gently, releasing only what you’re ready to let go of. There’s no need to relive painful memories; instead, we create space for healing, peace, and self-restoration. One of the most powerful aspects of this work is Heart Wall clearing, where we dissolve the energetic shield that forms around the heart after emotional pain. As the heart opens, many people experience greater love, clarity, purpose, and connection with themselves and others.

Emotion Code healing can ease physical discomfort, calm emotional turbulence, and even help animals release stress for a deeper sense of well-being.

If you’re ready to feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to who you truly are, I warmly invite you to begin your journey. Trust your heart—it already knows when it’s time to heal.

  • Celia is an acupuncturist with a passion for treating the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. She believes that health challenges often arise from a combination of external factors and internal ones, such as unresolved grief, worry, or anger. Acupuncture offers a gentle yet powerful way to support healing on all these levels.

Having qualified in 2000 from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Celia has spent over two decades helping people with a wide range of conditions, including women’s health concerns, allergies & asthma, chronic illness and pain. She has undertaken further training in fertility and pregnancy support (including with the Zita West Clinic); pain and neurological disorders; facial rejuvenation acupuncture.

In line with the core principles of Chinese medicine, Celia recognises that every person is unique — there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Treatments are always personalised, and she complements acupuncture with tailored lifestyle and nutritional guidance to help clients maintain wellbeing post-treatment.

Outside the clinic, Celia is mum to three lively teenage boys and loves to spend time outdoors — walking, mountain biking, and foraging — and is currently deepening her knowledge of mycotherapy to weave her love of mushrooms into her practice.

Celia warmly welcomes new clients and looks forward to supporting your unique journey toward better health and balance.

  • I’m Sam Hardwick & I’m a Chiropractor, with over 30 years of clinical experience, and a Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner with a specific interest in women’s health and whole-person care.

Currently, I work from my own clinic, Maple Leaf Clinic Sussex in Pulborough, Oakwood Chiropractic Clinic in Shoreham and now I’m pleased to be able to offer a Thursday afternoon clinic here at Mill Yard.

As a Chiropractor, my work covers anything from; chiropractic care of young athletes who are looking to optimise their sports performance and injury resilience, to taking care of the function of the neuromusculoskeletal system through spinal & other joint assessment, re-integration and alignment, to ‘mum’s to be’ looking to support their changing bodies and postures, to anyone wishing to optimise for better, more pain free movement and more focused brain/body integration.

I’ve completed further training in many areas including; chiropractic care through pregnancy; chiropractic care of the paediatric patient; movement and its effect on the developing brain, and women’s hormonal health.

As a Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner I support women who feel lost, overwhelmed and don’t know where to start with their health. Together we find the best next steps for you, your body and your brain, taking a whole body & mind, 360 degree look at your health and well-being.  Using a goal centred lifestyle approach, together we curate a clear & simple step by step plan individual to you and your needs, to get you back to feeling more like you again, and maybe even just that little bit better.

I have completed the Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine certification created by Dr. Chatterjee, a programme that has consolidated how I work as a health practitioner, as it brings together the science backed, evidence-based approach to using lifestyle changes for health, in a way that’s simple, practical and grounded in everyday life — particularly around stress, sleep, movement, food choices and long-term wellbeing.

I work alongside GPs and other healthcare professionals, supporting people in addition to any medical care they’re receiving.

What matters most to me is offering calm, considered care that helps you feel supported, informed, and confident in your health choices.

I look forward to welcoming you to my clinic at Mill Yard on Thursday afternoons.

  • Julia Haxworth, DipCNM, mANP Nutrition & Lifestyle Health Coach

“Working with Julia I feel for the first time that I’ve found an approach that truly works, and fits realistically into my lifestyle.  Feeling noticeably better day by day has been the biggest thrill for me.”

    Who I am:

I am Julia Haxworth, a naturopathic health coach, founder of The-Nourish, and qualified with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.  I am a full member of the Association of Naturopathic Medicine, and I specialise in long-term nutrition and lifestyle health.

    Who I work with:

Health coaching is for anyone who is motivated to make positive changes in their health and well-being, and wants guidance, support and accountability to achieve their goals.

In my 1:1 coaching practice, I work with people experiencing issues such as:

    • Poor sleep - regularly waking up feeling tired and relying on caffeine to get through the day

    • High stress levels - a feeling of constant fight or flight and frayed resilience levels

    • Low energy on a regular basis, - often with sugar or salty snack cravings kicking in

    • Digestion feeling off - bloating, discomfort, sluggishness

    • Menopausal issues - such as stubborn weight gain

    • Diagnosis of high blood pressure

    • Type 2 diabetes

    • High LDL cholesterol

    • Overwhelm with conflicting nutrition & health advice, looking for an approach that fits their particular lifestyle - rather than another restrictive diet

    • People who would like guidance and support in how to age healthily and with vitality and confidence

I work on the 5 fundamental elements that we can control:  nutrition, sleep, movement, hydration, stress-resilience.  My one-to-one coaching gives you an understanding of how these shape the way your body feels and functions, and how to make the right changes for you.  All our conversations are confidential and non-judgemental.

“Julia listened to me and understood my goals.  Her subsequent nutrition, exercise and sleep coaching programme for me has been a total game changer.”

    How I work:

I work with clients both online and in-person, and I have a practice on Fridays at Mill Yard in Petworth for my face-to-face clients.

    Get in touch:

Want to know more?   Drop me an email and we can book a discovery call to talk about your health goals, current health challenges and what working together could look like. I’d love to see how I can help you.

  • Reiki is an ancient form of energy medicine developed and formalized in early 1920’s Japan. This natural healing therapy promotes calm and balance by strengthening the body's natural healing processes and releasing blockages in the energy system. Energetic blockages are formed and sustained by the barrage of energies we come into daily contact with in our environments. There are many ailments that in fact begin as subtle energetic imbalances and Reiki aims to resolve these small imbalances before they become bigger problems.

Hollie - Reiki Master & Meditation Teacher Hollie is a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition and was first introduced to Reiki 18 years ago after the birth of her first child. Initially fascinated by the rebalancing aspect of Reiki, as Hollie’s interest, training and practice has grown she now deeply recognises the spiritual elements of the system and brings this awareness and the concept of non-duality into all her treatments. She works intuitively, helping clients to deeply relax, to soften, open their awareness and reconnect to their own true essence ~ their divine bright light.

In a treatment, the client remains fully clothed and if comfortable to do so, will lay on a Reiki couch. Hollie will first connect the client mindfully to the breath and then guide a visual meditation for deeper awareness and grounding into the body. She will then place her hands either on or just above the body to channel the subtle, natural healing vibration of Reiki. Clients can expect to leave a session feeling at peace, spacious, rebalanced and re-awakened.

Qualifications include Usui Reiki Ryoho I, II & III Master Level; Intuitive Reiki & Reiki Treatment with Reiki Master Teacher Torsten Lange; EFT Levels I & II; Guild of Energists Modern Energy Tapping Foundation; Meditation Teaching Diploma & Meditation Teacher Training accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals; Natural Mindfulness Guide Training accredited by IMMA.  Hollie is a member of the UK Reiki Federation and The Guild of Energists & is fully insured.

Hollie runs a small, drop-in Meditation Circle at Mill Yard every Thursday morning where her gently lead meditations will incorporate both traditional Reiki meditations and energetic visualisations amongst other meditation types such as Mindfulness, Nature-based Mindfulness (Forest Bathing) and Mantra. Please do join us!

  • Hi, I’m Vicky - a certified, ICF-trained life coach specialising in confidence, clarity, and personal transformation.

I help people who feel stuck, unsure, or held back by self-doubt to reconnect with who they truly are - and move forward with confidence.

My background in drama, teaching, and facilitation has given me a deep understanding of human behaviour, expression, and what it really takes to be seen and heard. I’ve spent years supporting people to find their voice - not just on stage, but in their lives.

Working as a drama teacher and theatre practitioner, including with Chichester Festival Theatre, I saw firsthand how powerful creative expression can be in building confidence and self-belief. After the pandemic, I founded a community theatre group to help people reconnect, rebuild, and rediscover themselves - and it reaffirmed what I’ve always known: confidence can be rebuilt, and people can change.

Now, as a confidence coach, I bring all of this experience together to support my clients on a deeper level.

I help you uncover what’s holding you back, challenge the patterns keeping you stuck, and reconnect with your authentic self - so you can make clear, confident decisions and create meaningful change in your life.

My clients often experience powerful “lightbulb” moments, shift long-held beliefs, and begin showing up in ways they never thought possible.

Because confidence isn’t something you’re born with - it’s something you build.

Clarity is courage. And everything changes from there.
