A Storytelling Workshop for Children facilitated by Vicky Paine
Story Makers is a hands-on, imaginative one-day workshop for children aged 7–11. Through drama, movement, voice, improvisation and creative play, children will work together to develop characters, build worlds and give their stories shape and voice — all within a supportive, encouraging environment.
The workshop is designed to nurture creativity, communication and confidence, inviting children to explore storytelling through performance and collaboration in a way that feels genuinely playful.
Throughout the day, they’ll take part in a range of interactive drama activities and storytelling exercises, culminating in an informal sharing for parents and carers at the end of the workshop - a chance to celebrate what the children have made together.
What the day aims to Nurture:
Imagination and creative thinking
Confidence in self-expression and communication

A safe and inclusive space where every child feels able to contribute
