Seasonal Pauses: Spring

Kate’s Seasonal pauses form a year-long arc of practice in our quiet sanctuary in the South Downs.

Spring Pause: Awakening and Direction

Held in the quiet stillness of Mill Yard, this extended spring practice explores the moment when energy begins to move outward again, not with urgency but with clarity and curiosity.

April is a month of awakening. What has been quietly nurtured during winter now stirs and seeks direction. This session invites us to listen closely to how energy wants to move through the body, exploring strength, flow, and momentum without force.

We'll begin with a dynamic, embodied practice designed to awaken circulation and support early strength, before gradually slowing into restorative postures and stillness. The afternoon will close with journaling and reflection, offering space to notice where movement feels natural, where resistance remains, and how to move forward with greater ease.

A spacious practice for orienting yourself in spring, grounded, responsive, and unrushed.
